Part of my Weekly Wandering 2.0 Project, this piece has been painted while outdoors at this location and then bought back to the studio to finish the details. The magic of painting on location is the ability to capture the vibrancy of the colours and mood of the scene, and also painting in the elements mean each piece has special additions such as sand, leaves etc that become part of each piece. I love these added details and hope you do too!
